Our Policies

Reserving Appointments

To reserve an appointment, all guests must provide a credit card number to hold on file. 

If a guest requests an appointment that is longer than 3 hours, the guest must pay a non-refundable deposit of 25% of total service cost. The amount counts towards the cost of the service and can transfer to a rescheduled appointment, but the amount will never be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

We ask guests to reschedule or cancel their appointments at least 48 hours before their scheduled time. We send confirmation emails 48 hours before the time of your appointment, and we ask you to respond promptly to confirm your reserved time. 

If a guest cancels an appointment less than 24 hours before scheduled time, the guest is charged 25% of the reserved time.

No-Call No-Show Policy

In the event of a no-call no-show, the guest is responsible for the 75% booked service total, and the credit card provided will be charged at the end of the business day your appointment was scheduled on.

Reservation Responsibility

The time you reserve for your appointment has been saved just for you and therefore, is equivalent to the amount of time you will be charged. Example: If you book a 5 hour service without consultation, you are responsible for the 5 hours even if your service only took your Stylist 3 hours. If you reserve a 3-hour service without consultation & your hair goals require more time an alternative suggestion will be made. If you’re not satisfied with the alternative & opt not to get your hair done, you are still responsible for the time reserved. Service Guarantee

We make every attempt to ensure you service that you are satisfied with. In the event that you are not fully satisfied with the service you received or your experience, please tell us at the end of our service or within 48 hours of the completion of your service.


All services are non-refundable but we are more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge. All corrective services must be communicated and approved by management. A corrective service is only in the event of a mistake taking place by a service provider, not in the event that you change your mind after the time of your service. It is important that you contact the salon as soon as possible after a unsatisfactory service as a you have 48 hours to contact the salon to schedule a corrective service.

We are a cashless salon, we accept all major credit card companies along with apple pay.

Child Policy

Please arrange child care for your appointment, we ask you to arrive to your appointment with out children. At The Hype Hair Studio we aim to offer you and every guest a comfortable and uninterrupted service. In the event you arrive to your appointment with your child, your service will be declined and a cancellation fee will be due. We do offer services for children, child services are charged the full hourly session of the stylist. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent for the duration of their service. Children 11 and older must have a parent preset for the consultation and provide consent for the service. 

Hourly pricing is transparent pricing. With hourly pricing regardless of what service you receive all pricing will be based on how many hours your stylist needs to achieve your desired results! Gratuity is also included in the hourly price, along with the amount of product needed for your color results. Gone are the days having to budget in gratuity and possible add-on fees for additional product. Your appointment total is - (time booked) X (hourly price of stylist) + (NM tax) = Total.
